The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released one of the most awaited notifications of the year – CEN No. 02/2025 for RRB Technician Recruitment. This notification invites online applications for 6238 posts of Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III in various trades under Indian Railways. 9. Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)

  • Technician Grade-I Signal: 18 to 33 years
  • Technician Grade-III: 18 to 30 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
  • PwBD – 10 to 15 years (as per category)

10. Educational Qualification

  • Technician Grade-I Signal: Diploma/Degree in Engineering
  • Technician Grade-III: ITI or Course Completed Act Apprentice (CCAA) in relevant trade

Engineering Diploma/Degree holders are not eligible for Technician Grade-III without ITI.

Separate CBTs will be held for Level 2 and Level 5 posts.
